 Setup ::

In our attempts to continually improve the service we provide to our clients, we’re happy to announce the launch of GreenTree Webhosting’s web-mail interface.

In less than 5 minutes you can be making use of GreenTree Webhosting’s web-mail service. This allows you to access your existing GreenTree Webhosting E-mail account, from any Internet enabled computer (like those at a public library for example).

How to use GreenTree Webhosting’s web-mail interface.

1. Point your web-browser to http://<YOURDOMAIN>/webmail e.g. in my case it is www.greentreewebhosting.com/webmail

2. You will be prompted for your username and password.
Enter your full email address as your username “bob@example.com"
Enter your password e.g.“wagtopt234#”
Click on “OK”, and wait for your inbox page to load.

3. You are presented with a choice of 3 different web-mail clients you can use. (your choice) I typically choose horde because I am most familiar with its features.
Click on the link for the client you choose.
4. Click "log in" on this screen after verifying the language is appropriate.
5. (optional) If you are prompted to perform maintenance, choose to do that at this point (typically this is removing old attachments from the server etc.)
6. (optional) If this is your first time using your webmail, you will need to set up your web-mail account to correctly display your email address and other details
  6.1 Click on “Options”
  6.2 Click on “Personal Information”
6.3 Click on “Edit your Identities”
  6.3.1 Select “Default Identity”
6.3.2 Enter your full name & From address & Reply-to address

7. Click on "MAIL" on the left menu on your screen when it appears.
8 Enjoy using the web-mail interface.
Note: Reading your emails in this interface, does not remove them from the server, which allows you to later download your mail using your E-mail client.
